Data Center Ops Analyst
Role Responsibilities
- Resolving escalated data center service issues
- Acting as key point of contact with clients on data center operations issues
- Managing problems utilizing defined problem and change management policies and procedures
- Supporting Data Center infrastructure by installing, maintaining and repairing hardware in order to accommodate Data Center growth
Basic Qualifications
- 4
years of data center experience
Additional Skills
- Knowledgeable of Data Center IT Operations and Infrastructure
- 3
years Wintel or Linux Operating System Administration experience - Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Distributed Storage (NAS/SAN)
- Infrastructure and Network Comprehension
- BICSI Structured Cabling Standards
- Data Center Information Management (DCIM) base knowledge
- Must be of physical condition to support this physically demanding position
- Conduct clear and effective two-way communication, verbal and electronic, with team members and vendors as well as, internal and external customers.
- Flexible and team oriented
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
