Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital seeks full-time Environmental Services Supervisor to join a dynamic leadership team. This position includes oversight of housekeeping staff (day/evening shifts), operational leadership and innovation. This is a fast-paced position overseeing about 30 housekeeping employees per shift. Responsibilities include ensuring proper patient area cleaning, floor care work, project work, medical waste management, discharge and terminal cleaning. Evaluates and monitors quality improvement indicators for safety and sanitation utilizing established programs and standards. Requires:
3
years' experience in supervising housekeeping staff in large facilities, knowledge of proper use of cleaning fluids, basic MS Office skills, and excellent communication skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
