Loss Control Consultant
Responsibilities:
o Individually scheduling appointments with clients to obtain necessary information
o Contacting clients and communicating via phone, email, and face to face discussions
o Inspect commercial and residential properties for hazardous conditions
o Evaluate operational and safety practices including exposures and hazards
o Write recommendations for the reduction of losses
o Submit reports via web-portal in checklist and narrative formatting
o Adhere to customer requirements and quality standards
o Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity
Qualifications for the ideal employee:
o Act with professionalism and urgency
o Ability to observe and evaluate potentially hazardous conditions and write recommendations
o Skills in time management, verbal/ written communications, and web-based applications
o Background in construction, safety, fire safety and risk services beneficial
o Experience with safety inspections on commercial or residential properties helpful

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
