Essential Duties
o Assist customers on the showroom floor with window treatment selections
o Educate customers on the selection process in order to create the home design of their dreams
o Build lasting relationships with customers by attentively following up on inquires and purchases
o Support sales and management efforts of other TSS associates with a positive attitude and team focus
o Sell The Shade Store Value- Deliver a world-class customer experience - end to end, whatever it takes.
o Acquire and maintain sufficient product knowledge and strive to continually increase knowledge base
o Learn internal systems and processes to engage in transactional selling
o Participate in on and offsite meetings, trainings, and events as required
Desired Skills and Experience
Job Requirements
o Some college required, ideally a four year degree.
o 2 years of relevant retail sales experience strongly encouraged
o Ability to develop business relationships with customers and coworkers
o Passion about home trends and/or design building/remodeling
o Strong organizational and follow-through skills
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
