Regional Sales Representative
The Regional Sales Rep is responsible for building and developing relationships with both existing and new customers within their territory. The Regional Sale Rep is charged with communication of all applicable sales and marketing information to key account personnel including but not limited to pricing, new product information, product positioning, internet assets, print material, in-store POP, promotional information, end-of-life strategies and training materials. Will identify and target new customers and opportunities and focus on achieving monthly, quarterly and yearly gross sales and margin targets.
Key
Responsibilities:
Focus on achieving sales and margin targets
Manage a portfolio of existing accounts and increase overall sales and margin contribution
Expand dealer channel by adding new accounts when and where appropriate
Drive business via outbound communication to channel partners
Support company verticals through cross selling initiatives
Develop and maintain relationships with all key customer contacts
Assess customers on product needs and gather information to inform the company on various trends and competition
Interact with various departments to ensure we are capitalizing on all opportunities
Provide market and competitive information (product opportunities, competitor strengths and weaknesses).
Effectively track customer calls and applicable follow up opportunities
Submit sales reports as required
Assist with various trade shows or other sales and marketing initiatives
Position Requirements:
Minimum 3 years experience in sales management
Deep knowledge of guitar related products, accessories and effects
Knowledge of the U.S. Music Instrument retail sales channel
Strong problem-solving & analytical thinking skills
Ability to develop strong relationships and work with senior level executives
Exceptional written and verbal skills
Computer skills -- Microsoft Office, Basic Database skills
Solid business acumen, and communication skills
20--30% travel.
