Transition House Transition House Santa Barbara, CA Santa Barbara, CA Full-time Full-time $50,000 a year $50,000 a year Full-time case manager to assist families living in Transition House's emergency homeless shelter and seeking to improve their lives by securing employment, income, savings, and applying for low-income housing in our community.
Ideal candidate will have the ability to direct family households in crafting a realistic plan to reach housing stability and self-sufficiency.
Must be able to assist clients in creating household budgets and gathering documentation.
Case manager will also connect clients to other services in our community.
Schedule includes some evenings at the shelter.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
College degree or equivalent experience necessary.
Previous social work experience desired.
Knowledge of local social services is a plus.
Excellent written and organizational skills required.

We follow a 36-hour work week, closing at 1:
00 every Friday.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
