Must able to perform physically strenuous work, and work in underground confined spaces.

Experience:
Water Service Worker I - Three years of experience in general maintenance, mechanical and/or construction work.
Water Service Worker II - Three years of experience as a Water / Wastewater Operator certified through the State of California.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Water Service Worker I - Possession of or the ability to obtain a State of California Department of Health Services Water Distribution Grade D1 certificate within one year of appointment.
Possession of or the ability to obtain a State Qualified Applicator's Certificate within six months of employment.
Possession of a valid California driver's license and an insurable driving record.
Water Service Worker II - Possession of a State of California Department of Health Services Water Distribution D2 certificate, or.
Possession of a State of California Department of Health Services Water Distribution D1 certificate with the ability to obtain a State of California Department of Health Services Water Distribution D2 certificate within one year of appointment.
