Director of Nursing
Director of Nursing - Full Time with a 4 Day Work Week!Valle Verde, a HumanGood life plan community in Santa Barbara, CA is seeking a Director of Nursing who is looking to share the DON role with our current DON and enjoy a 4-Day work week! The pay range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000 Relocation agreement or Sign On Bonus too!The Director of Nursing (DON) plans, directs organizes, and evaluates nursing services to meet the total needs of the residents, and ensures an efficient health facility operation in cooperation with other departments and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Additional responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
Directing, overseeing, and evaluating all nursing personnel (registered nurses, LPN, etc.
) Establishing objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department Organizing and coordinating admission, nursing, and patient care procedures Developing and enforcing policies for legal compliance and high-quality standards Qualifications Current/prior experience as a DON or ADON Skilled Nursing experience required.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing; Master's degree in Healthcare Administration is a plus Valid RN license and CPR certification In-depth knowledge of hospital procedures and KPI/KQIs of patient care Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare best practices and legal regulations Ability to lead and develop personnel Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Our culture is unique, thanks to person-directed principles and practices throughout our community.
