This position will report to the Director of Operations and Chief Financial Officer, in addition to supporting the accounting department.
The corporate office is located in one of our two highly established local restaurants that we own and operate.
The hours will be 25-30 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, with opportunity for more hours and growth within the position.
The compensation will be based on experience.
Duties Include:
-Daily cashiering tasks including counting cash drawers, counting and distributing tips -Daily cash counts of vaults, research and report discrepancies before reconciling -Record daily cash/daily sales data into excel spreadsheet templates -Issue customer credit card refunds, authorizations, and captures -Assemble change orders, ensure that the restaurant has adequate change on hand -Assemble bank deposits -Run custom Point of Sales System reports -Create custom monthly billing for house accounts -Organize, file, and maintain physical and electronic documents -Answer inquiries through multi-line telephone system -Assist human resources and payroll department as needed
Qualifications:
-Punctuality, dependability, and professionalism -Telephone etiquette -Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Dropbox -Data entry skills -Accounting, administrative, and clerical skills -Cash handling skills -Knowledge of Point of Sales and Credit Card Processing Systems -Ability to maintain efficient communication between office staff and restaurant floor staff -Ability to make arithmetical calculations -Ability to operate office equipment including fax, copy, scan machine, and 10-key calculator Job Type:
