Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care Santa Barbara

DescriptionThe NP functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs).
In collaborative practice with the Medical Director, attending physicians and clinic manager, the NP will be responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for Santa Barbara primary care patients.
The NP is a master's prepared advanced practice nurse employed by UCLA Health Santa Barbara community clinics to assist in direct patient care.
The NP will be responsible for communication and feedback with patients, families and referring physicians and will serve as a clinical care extender of the attending physicians.
The NP will maintain regular patient care hours while also providing schedule coverage for urgent or same-day needs.
The NP will cover provider absences as needed.
Will cover other clinics in the Santa Barbara region as necessary.
Additionally, inbasket coverage will be assigned during periods of underutilized schedule, ensuring a well-balanced workload.
Incumbent must be self-directed and function with minimal direct supervision.
Salary range:
NP1 (less than 6 months NP exp):
$72.
86/hourly NP2:
$80.
78-$115.
37/hourly Recommended Skills Nursing Nursing Care Disease Management Intensive Care Unit Licensed Practical Nurse Critical Care Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
