Montecito Bank & Trust is seeking a full-time Facilities Specialist in the Santa Barbara area.
The Facilities Specialist will deliver a World Class Experience by ensuring that all offices and facilities are kept in good repair and functioning properly by performing periodic inspections and basic upkeep/repairs to buildings, facilities, and equipment.
This position is also responsible for ordering, receiving, auditing, storing, dispensing & delivering internal forms and office supplies.
Responsible for contacting and supervising of external vendors for any building related services or repairs.
The Facilities Specialist position also coordinates associate and department moves.
The position coordinates responsive facility services to all areas of the bank.
This position requires the availability to work Saturdays and overtime as needed.
Minimum Requirements, Activities & Responsibilities Education and
Experience:
A high school degree or equivalent required A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school requiring approximately 64 credit hours preferred A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience in building repair and maintenance, facilities management, general construction or related experience
Essential Functions:
Performs a variety of routine building and landscape maintenance duties at multiple sites.
Serves as the lead role in setup and cleanup of special events and activities.
Completes work orders, inventory control documents, weekly reports and preventive maintenance documents.
Responsible for the purchase, pickup and delivery of supplies as needed.
Coordinate and implement associate moves for all bank areas and departments.
Deliver to branches & departments all items & forms ordered.
Maintain a clean, orderly & neat warehouse.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Capabilities:
Valid Class C driver's license and acceptable driving record Working knowledge of power, hand tools and equipment Must be flexible and willing to work in an interactive and dynamic team environment.
Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and customer service skills Strong knowledge of standard computer applications including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, speak clearly to customers and employees Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills Ability to lead by example in a team setting and work independently while performing duties Current driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities Must be able to perform this position safely, without endangering the health or safety to himself or herself or others Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance Must be able to work effectively either independently or as part of a team Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities Must be able to demonstrate highest levels of customer service and confidentiality with internal and external customers Interested in applying?
