Non Exempt Education and/or Experience High School diploma required Bachelor's degree in related field desirable but not necessary Experience in related job field desirable Ability to obtain a CPR/First Aid/AED instructors certification Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations Display the highest degree of honesty and integrity Must be able to supervise various shifts while being assigned to a particular shift Ability to direct resources during emergency situations Be able to work any shift, for an extended period of time, as directed by Director of Security Write policies, procedures, and manuals as directed Carry out tasks, in a timely manner, as assigned by Director of Security Ability to effectively mentor, coach, and correct subordinates performance Confirm that all duties and tasks are/were completed by all shifts Job Summary (Essential Functions) Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the security staff.
Observes and enforces club safety rules, CC&R's, and policies.
Follow oral and written guidance of supervision and management.
Job Tasks/Duties Must return all communications from supervision and staff within a timely manner Follow the oral and written guidance of Director of Security Train subordinates (quarterly) on how to follow the Access Procedures Create and update security instructions Disseminate information and direction to the security team Attend meetings in absence of Security Director Distribute training materials and ensure compliance Assist with sensitive investigations Monitoring security officer training Assist with Scheduling of security personnel Ensure special coverage is staffed appropriately and written instructions are provided to the assigned officer(s) Create training documents for new employees Train all new employees Make written and oral reports as required Review and submit written documentation of incidents from officers to Director of Security for approval Ensure proper protocols are being followed Proactively respond to personnel issues before they escalate Confirm all security officers are registered with BSIS as a PSO or Guard Card Ensure all notifications are sent out as soon as possible Administers CPR and First Aid as necessary Notes any deficiencies in club's security measures Maintains accurate log of all security staff activities Conducts intermittent inspections of the clubhouse, grounds and all other club facilities and areas Assures that all internal and external doors are locked according to club's policies.
Is familiar with emergency 911 notification procedures Completes other appropriate assignments directed by the Director of Security Licenses and Special Requirements Certification in Basic CPR, AED and First Aid Valid driver's license Physical Demands and Work Environment Frequent exposure to hot, sunny, humid, cold or rainy conditions Working conditions are often slippery and wet May work in nighttime conditions Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling Frequent repetitive motions Continuous standing and walking Quick Apply.
